I designed and developed the interface for an application to notify clients of events related to their profile preferences without inducing alert fatigue.
Challenge
An event and travel company wanted to create an application that would notify clients when a travel event was trending toward a higher order popularity. The application needed to avoid alert fatigue while assisting clients in managing large groups of events.
Solution
I utilized best practices in information display, managing large data sets and information visualization to create an interface that allows providers to survey their total event population while identifying numbers at a glance. Using an iterative design process, I elicited feedback from representative users to make ongoing improvements throughout the design process.
